As Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management, Jim Thomas is responsible for the global procurement, logistics and distribution of food, food-related and indirect products for all Panda Restaurant Group concepts.
Jim brings to Panda a strong background in strategic sourcing, optimizing cost reduction and process improvement. His previous experience includes roles as Vice President of Supply Management and Distribution with SpenDifference, LLC; as Senior Vice President of Supply Management and Purchasing for Darden Restaurants; and, Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Oberweis Dairy, Inc.
Jim holds an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago and BS in Operations Management from Penn State University. He also acquired Director Education and Corporate Governance Certification through UCLA Anderson School of Management and in leadership roles with various industry associations and volunteer activities.
